The winemaking is on point, it delivers great value and the blend of indigenous varieties – Viosinho, Rabigato, Gouveio and Códega do Larinho – offer a unique experience. Imagine a wine that checks the boxes for depth of flavour and generous length with the fruit profile of a Pinot Gris and the weight of a Viognier. The bouquet has a lot to say with the fragrance of citrus, melon, pear, honey, mineral, nut and talc. This complexity carries through to the palate with notes of mineral-laced orange zest, lemon and grapefruit. A full-bodied unwooded pour that could be considered the red wine lover’s white wine.”
