Bodegas Godeval produces their wines today with the same effort and commitment with which they began, 30 years ago. At its facilities, located in the historic setting of Xagoaza (O Barco), began their recovery of the Godello variety project in the 80s, using part of Monastery of Xagoaza, a medieval building, as a winery and planting vineyards, to control everything in the wine process and follow the idea of “that wine is made in the vineyard”. 

At Terroir al Límit, they are very much aware of being part of the Mediterranean context. The Priorat is a historic Mediterranean region with an ancient winemaking tradition. The culture and terroir is strongly affected by the Mediterranean climate. The goal at Terroir al Límit is to produce wines of infusion rather than extraction, thereby emphasizing elegance, rather than the typical heaviness of Priorat wines.

Godeval Cepas Vellas - From Godello grapes selected from the oldest vineyards of the winery and with a vinification process in the presence of its own lees for about 5 months in stainless steel tanks. A complete, full-bodied wine that surprises from the first moment and remains in the memory.

Terroir al Limit Terra de Cuques Negre - True to its origins and signature, Terra de Cuques charms with its warm and supple nature. Rich black and red fruits reminisce about its many hours of copious sunshine. Yet, a cooling wind threads through the wine as well, as both a fine, persistent acidity and fresh herbal essence. Wonderfully juicy, balanced and expressive, a wine without pretensions, simply telling the liquid story of a place and a people and a time.
