Loopline × Stratus Field Trip

We’re packing up the Loopline spirit and taking it on the road. Join us for a harvest-season field trip to Niagara’s Stratus Vineyards—an immersive day of good wine, good company, and a little countryside escape.

The Vibe

This isn’t your average winery tour. It’s a Loopline-style field trip: thoughtful but never stuffy, educational without being a lecture, and always rooted in the joy of sharing great wine. Expect spritzes on the bus, laughter in the vineyard, sandwiches worth talking about, and just enough structure to make the day seamless.

The Day Plan

8:30 AM – Meet at Loopline
Start the day the right way: coffee and scones before we hit the road.

9:00 AM – Departure
All aboard! We’ll roll out with chilled Dame Spritzers to keep things lively en route. Think of it as an aperitivo on wheels.

~11:00 AM – Arrival at Stratus
The vineyards are calling. Stretch your legs and take in a guided walk among the vines as harvest nears.

11:00 – 11:45 AM – Vineyard Tour
See where it all begins: soil, vines, and the rhythm of the season.

11:45 – 12:30 PM – Cellar Tour
Head inside for a behind-the-scenes look at Stratus’ cellar and winemaking philosophy.

12:30 – 1:15 PM – Guided Tasting
Sip through a lineup of Stratus wines in a guided tasting led by the team. Seated or standing—it’s all about the wines in the glass and the stories they tell.

1:15 – 2:00 PM – Lunch (Included)
Your choice of:

• Pastrami on Rye – Rye bread, house-made pastrami, sauerkraut, Loop mustard, garlic aioli

• Salmon Salad Sandwich – Ciabatta, honey-pickled salmon, arugula, lemon-dill sour cream, whipped ricotta, green onion, red onion

• Vegan Pita – Dany’s vegan ground “beef,” green tahini, fattoush

Served with sides of:

• Baba Ghanoush – Za’atar, pomegranate, mint, pita

• Cherry Tomato Salad – Feta (optional), red onion, basil, honey

2:00 – 2:15 PM – Shop & Stroll
Time to grab a bottle (or three) for your cellar.

2:15 PM – Departure from Stratus
We’ll head back to the city with a few more stories and bottles in tow.

~4:15–4:30 PM – Return to Loopline
Home in time for Sunday dinner. Or one more glass.
