Sourced from 25-year-old vines in the historic Clos Saint-Jean vineyard, this wine benefits from east-facing slopes and diverse soils rich in clay and limestone, contributing to its complexity and elegance. The grapes undergo meticulous hand-harvesting and triple sorting, followed by a cold pre-fermentation maceration to extract primary aromas. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts and gentle extraction techniques preserve the varietal's character and the terroir's expression. Aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, with 25% new oak, the wine develops a harmonious balance between fruit and structure. On the nose, it reveals deep aromas of red and black berries, while the palate offers a powerful yet refined body with coated tannins and a smooth, lingering finish.
