LOOPLINE TASTING NOTES | Jessica Litaud Saint‑Véran 'Les Pommards' 2023 is a dry, mineral-driven Chardonnay from the Saint‑Véran appellation in Burgundy’s Mâconnais, crafted by the rising producer Domaine Jessica Litaud. Made from 100 % Chardonnay on calcareous-clay soils, it is vinified with gentle pressing, slow fermentation and aged in old oak barrels to retain freshness and terroir expression. On the nose and palate, it delivers white-fruit and orchard-fruit aromas (think pear, white peach), floral notes, a subtle mineral streak and a crisp acidity, balanced by a refined texture and a long, elegant finish. The 2023 vintage is recognized for its clarity, energy and gastronomic versatility — a wine that pairs beautifully with seafood, poultry or creamy vegetarian dishes, and also shows good potential for a few years of cellaring.
